Getting Vedetta working.
Installing, setting up, your licence, and how to reach us.
Installing and setting up
- An App Catalog administrator installs Vedetta from the SharePoint Store (listing coming soon), or uploads the package file. Nothing needs approving in Microsoft Entra ID.
- The owner of the site where your methodologies will live, usually the PMO’s or quality team’s site, adds a page with the Vedetta methodologies web part and publishes it.
- They open the page and choose Set up. The 30-day free trial starts.
- In Settings, they add authors, and copy the links for starting projects and for authors to your intranet.
For what Vedetta does in your tenant, see IT & security.
Expert method packs
Get the pack from the expert’s own store, or their free download if they offer one. Expert packs are separate from the Vedetta licence. A pack is a .vedetta file: in the Author workspace, choose Import method pack. It becomes a draft that you can adapt and publish for your organisation.
For a pack purchase, delivery, refund or its terms, contact the expert’s store. For help importing it or using Vedetta, contact us. An expert demo may show only an approved sample; the expert’s store explains what the full pack contains.
Your licence
- Buying: a site owner chooses Buy a licence in Vedetta’s Settings. See pricing.
- Activating: a site owner opens the activation link in the licence email and confirms. Or they paste the key under Settings → Licence.
- Lost the key email? Email us from your billing contact address and we will help you recover it.
- Pay by invoice: choose it on the Buy page and enter your billing details and optional PO. Stripe emails the invoice, due in 30 days. You get a temporary key straight away, and your full-year key once the invoice is paid.
- Card, invoices, cancelling: the billing portal, linked from every licence email.
- Anything else, such as changing plan, a refund, another currency or multi-year terms: email us and we will arrange it.
